Celebrating the Resilience of Women in Politics and Political Spaces

The launch will include a discussion on the impact of Politics on the Mental Health of Women in political spaces.

The inner turmoil within the world of politics is often shielded from public view under the guise of ‘organisational discipline’. Those entrenched within the political sphere, however, are acutely aware of its unrelenting nature, which frequently takes a toll on the mental well-being of politicians. Women, in particular, are commonly exposed to traumatic experiences, varying in intensity from intellectual undermining to heinous acts of sexual violence.
