Event Democracy and Political Culture UP FES Autumn School on Social Democracy and Civic Participation for Young Leaders FES UP Winter School on Social Democracy and Civic Participation for Young Leaders The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung South Africa in partnership with the University of Pretoria (UP) will host its third Democracy School on Social Democracy and Civic Participation for Young Leaders. The school focuses on democracy, social justice and human rights. The specific objective of this programme is to develop young leaders who will later contribute to the political, economic and social debates and fill the leadership vacuum in South Africa. The participants aspire to become leaders that work for the common good and the well-being of everyone in society within their different spheres of influence.
