Event Developing a Pan-African Agenda dealing with Global Issues 09/27/2022 22:00 to 01/01/1970 00:00 - Conference | CSIR ICC, Pretoria Register now for Wednesday's conference What does Pan-Africanism mean to you? In 2022 we partnered with the Mapungubwe Institute for Strategic Reflection (tag) and the Institute for Global Dialogue (tag) to host a conference looking at what a pan-African agenda for a world in flux looks like today. Liberation, humanity, agency, community, accountability, imagination, change and strong institutions were some of the words to describe what the vision for pan-Africanism is today. Participants also emphasised that the pan-African agenda for the 21st century is about the state but goes beyond the state to include people-to-people collaboration, unions, parties, civil society, youth, women, workers and queer people. A perfect way to bring Africa Month to a close. This video is provided on YouTube. To look at it, you have to agree to our marketing cookies.
