Lydia: Anthem to the Unity of Women

Lydia Kompe-Ngwenya was a shop steward for Metal and Allied Workers Union (MAWU) thereafter was with TGWU which became SATAWU while MAWU became NUMSA after a series of mergers.

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) South Africa in collaboration with Join Kally Forrest the author of the biography of Mama Lydia Kompe-Ngwenya, in partnership with the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Soth Africa for the pre Book launch.
