Essay-Writing Competition and Conference Opportunity – Calling all International and Public Affairs Postgraduate Students
The International and Public Affairs (IPA) Cluster, UKZN, along with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, invites you to submit a 1,000-word essay on the topic, “The Evolving Global Order: What’s at Stake for Africa?”. The winners of the competition will be invited to attend a Public Event hosted by UKZN and FES on the evening of Tuesday, 19 March 2019, titled “South Africa Faces the World in an Election Year: 2019 Election and South African Foreign Policy – A Panel Discussion”. They will also be invited to attend a two-day conference with key thinkers and actors in International Relations at a Durban hotel. Accommodation, meals and transport from a specified origin (UKZN, Howard College Campus and UKZN, Pietermaritzburg Campus) will be provided for.
